Last night, or early today, I woke up after having a weird dream of which I remember little. That’s not the weird part. The weird part is I woke up thinking the word Boudicca: it was 3:40am. I promptly googled it which reveals she was a Celtic Iceni warrior princess who fought the Romans in 61 AD. After King Prasutagus of the Iceni died, his land was taken by the Romans, and the former King’s wife, Boudicca was flogged. Eventually, Boudicca assembled the Britons to advance on the Romans which led to the battle of Watling street, where an estimated 200,000 Britons, mostly naked except for small shields and spears fought 10,000 Romans; the Britons lost and were massacred.
And then the next night, I dreamed about a scorpion crawling on my ceiling fan. (I don’t have a ceiling fan though). I wake up as the scorpion is falling on to my bed. Generally, a scorpion is a not a good thing to dream about since it can mean death/betrayal.
In conclusion, I’ve been having some weird dreams and need to stop eating cheetos before bed.
