oh hello bots! Lets be real: What’s the point of a 12+ character password that you’ll just forget and then reset it back to your old insecure but trusty “password123”?
So while I was working on my script to replace and harden wordpress after a hack, I decided to include a password generator, which was fun. More importantly, the passwords are fairly secure such as:
theresponsiblegiraffegrowledbetweenrussia? would take around 2 billion years to guess. While that’s not the case if the words in the script that generate the password are known, it’s still far more secure than going back to using “password123” because you can’t remember “$g95)!fgj530$l”
